Flat braided tape manufactured from high tenacity polyester yarn. This tape is designed for lacing the end turns of stators. Heat shrinkage of approximately 10% at 350° F holds windings tightly in place following bake cycle. Specifically formulated finish reduces fraying and improves knot holding characteristics.
Also available in low shrinkage version. (Less than 4% at 300° F) Add "LS" to end of part number for this item. Covered by Breyden Products' UL tested sample BPCCT155.
Ideal for stator tying and coil wrapping in Class F (155° C) applications.
