WEIDMANN manufactures several grades of presspaper for a variety of insulating applications. All are manufactured to international standards on a multi-vat cylinder machine. This method of construction builds up a continuous web of processed fibers in homogenous layers to create a pinhole-free structure.
Grade K Presspaper is made of 100% sulphate wood pulp. It is a high-strength paper with excellent electrical properties. It is ideal for a broad range of applications, particularly in oil-filled transformer manufacturing. It can be dyed to various colours achievable with an unbleached furnish. Dyeing has no effect on quality.
