3M CeQUIN 30F Inorganic Insulating Paper Laminate is a 2-ply composite of 3M CeQuin 3000 Inorganic Insulating Paper bonded to polyester (PET) film for use in high-temperature electrical insulating applications.
Qualified for use in electrical insulation systems up to Class R-220°C per UL 1446 and IEC std. 60085. Applications include layer insulation in dry-type transformers as well as interwinding insulation in strip-wound coils. CeQUIN 30F laminates offer the high-performance characteristics of CeQUIN 3000 papers including excellent thermal and dielectric stability, high thermal conductivity, long-term voltage endurance, and low moisture absorption; the polyester film reinforcement provides higher mechanical strength and improved cut-through resistance and resistance to tear initiation for ease of handling in manufacturing operations.
CeQUIN 30F laminates are compatible with commonly used impregnating varnishes and resins and are easily impregnated, further enhancing thermal conductivity and coil bonding characteristics.
