Acuflex® NM laminates are constructed of NOMEX/MYLAR/NOMEX bonded with Von Roll's Thermal Bond proprietary high-temperature adhesive system.
The polyester film contributes high dielectric strength, tear, tensile and burst strength. The Aramid paper in combination with Von Roll's proprietary Thermal Bond high temperature adhesive provides long-term thermal stability.
Typically designed for use as slot, phase and end turn insulation as well as ground an wrapper insulation in dry-type transformers and a wide variety of punched and fabricated parts.
